HOW TO CHANGE UBUNTU PASSWORD BY USING TERMINAL

STEPS TO CHANGE UBUNTU PASSWORD BY USING TERMINAL

1.Open Terminal (Ctrl + Alt + T)   OR Open Applications And Search Terminal and Open It.

2.It will Open like the below Window

3.Then Type The Command "sudo passwd Username" in Terminal.

4.Here My username is nitesh , So I am Typing the command "sudo passwd nitesh" and press Enter

5.It will ask you the current unix password.Enter your Current password and then press Enter

6.It will ask you the "Enter New Password".You have to Enter your password what you wish.

7.Then it Asks "Re-Enter Your password".Again you have to confirm your password and Press Enter

8.It Shows Your Password Updated Successfully.
