SAMSUNG START BETA TESTING FOR OREO ON SAMSUNG GALAXY C5 PRO

Good news for Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro owners: Oreo update for your device should start rolling out soon. The company has started a beta test for the update in China.

After completing the Galaxy Beta program registration process, you can download and install the Beta software by manually clicking the Software Update menu (Settings – Software Update – Download Update).
Last year, Samsung released Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro as a mid-end smartphone. The heart of the flagship was Snapdragon 625 accompanied by 4GB RAM and 64GB R.OM, a generous 5.2-inch 1080P Super AMOLED display, and a 16MP rear and front camera. The phone was running on Android 6.0 OS, pre-installed, but now updates to Android 8.0.

Google says that the latest Android OS stresses on a better security. Moreover, the system speed has also been improved. The App loading speed has become twice. Meanwhile, there are some features added and improved as well including:

  2. Dots for notifications
  3. Improved security options
  4. An autofill fill service
  5. Smart text selection
  6. Picture-in-picture mode
  7. Wi-Fi Aware
  8. Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) 5.0 Support
  9. New UI (App Category, New Android TV launcher, Android Studio)
